Arts-Rec, located 190 kilometers south of Los Angeles, has been an important part of the skateboard scene in San Diego since 2018. As an expression of founder Kellen James' dedication to culture and respect for his roots, both physical stores reflect the creativity and duality that characterize San Diego skateboarding.

Based on a revolutionary Nike model designed to handle everything, the Nike SB Arts-Rec Air Trainer features soft color tones and bold graphics inspired by a local animal institution. The shoe is crafted with shag suede and embossed animal print overlays. The zoo inspiration is also reflected in the insole, with custom artwork.

Additionally, the Arts-Rec Trainer is equipped with tonal laces and adjustable toe grip straps featuring the Arts-Rec logo.
