Shipping, store pickup and returns

Shipping

All shipments are processed by GLS Belgium using the FlexDeliveryService. Your parcel will be shipped to the address provided during checkout.

With FlexDeliveryService, GLS informs you when your parcel is on its way. Depending on the available options, you may choose a preferred delivery option.

Your parcel can be tracked using the tracking number you receive after placing or dispatch of your order.

The standard delivery time is approximately 1 to 3 working days.

Store pickup

If you selected “store pickup”, your order can be collected at the selected store by providing your order number.

You will receive a confirmation once your order is ready for pickup. In most cases this takes approximately 1 hour, depending on availability and processing.

Please only collect your order after receiving this confirmation.

Returns

The provisions below apply to products purchased online through www.skateshop.be by customers acting as consumers.

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days starting from the day after receiving your order, without giving any reason.

A return request can be submitted through your account under “orders” and then “return item”, or by email via [email protected].

Returns from Belgium

Skateshop.be may, at its own discretion, offer a free return label for returns shipped from Belgium.

After approval of your return request, you will receive a shipping label which must be printed and attached to the shipping box. The parcel can then be dropped off at a GLS Parcel Shop.

Free return labels can only be provided for returns shipped from Belgium.

Returns from other EU countries

For returns shipped from other EU countries, return shipping costs are always the responsibility of the customer unless explicitly agreed otherwise.

Returns from other EU countries must always be requested in advance through your account or via [email protected].

The customer must return the parcel using a courier service that provides track & trace. Responsibility for the return shipment remains with the customer until the parcel has been received by Skateshop.be.

Condition of returned products

Products may only be inspected and tried on as would reasonably be possible in a physical retail store.

The customer may not use the product beyond what is necessary to determine its nature, characteristics and functioning.

Only products returned complete, clean, undamaged and, where reasonably possible, in their original packaging are eligible for full reimbursement.

If a returned product has suffered depreciation due to use, damage, dirt, missing parts, damaged packaging or handling beyond normal inspection, Skateshop.be reserves the right to charge compensation for the loss in value.

Skateshop.be may refuse or reduce a refund if a product appears to have been used, worn, washed, damaged, soiled, incomplete or returned in a non-resalable condition, insofar as legally permitted.

Refunds or exchanges

For approved returns, you are entitled to a refund or, where available and requested, an exchange.

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original order unless explicitly agreed otherwise.

At the customer’s request, a refund may also be converted into a store credit or discount code equal to the refundable amount, to be used on a future purchase.

Original shipping costs are refunded in accordance with applicable legal provisions. Additional costs resulting from choosing a more expensive shipping method than the standard delivery option are not refundable.

Abuse of the return policy

In cases of excessive returns, repeated disputed quality claims, unfounded complaints or suspected abuse of the return policy, Skateshop.be reserves the right to charge return costs or to no longer provide prepaid return labels.

Skateshop.be reserves the right to refuse return requests or future orders in cases of suspected abuse of withdrawal rights, fraudulent claims, excessive returns or behaviour contrary to good faith.

Promotions, bundles and discounts

For promotional actions such as buy one get one free, 2+1 offers, bundles or other combination deals, the promotional advantage is granted based on the complete package purchased.

When an order is partially returned, the promotional conditions may change. The refundable amount may therefore be recalculated.

For a buy one get one free promotion, the discount is granted upon purchase of two products. If only one of the two products is returned, the promotional benefit expires and the retained product will be charged at its normal retail price.

As a result, the refundable amount may be lower or, depending on the promotion and the value of the retained item, equal to €0.

When all products from a promotional bundle are returned completely and correctly, the full purchase amount will be refunded, provided all return conditions are met.

Products that cannot or may not be fully returned

The following products cannot or may not be fully refunded, insofar as legally permitted:

  • used, worn, soiled, damaged or incomplete products;
  • products missing labels, accessories or essential parts;
  • products made to customer specifications or personalised products;
  • products specially assembled or modified for the customer;
  • products which by their nature cannot be returned.

Standard products from the skateboard hardware or skateboard category may only be returned if they are unused, undamaged, complete and in resalable condition. Products that have been assembled, used, damaged or custom-built cannot be fully refunded.

Products purchased through raffles, special releases or limited launches are also subject to the applicable legal withdrawal rights unless a legal exception applies. However, Skateshop.be reserves the right to refuse returns or charge compensation for depreciation if the products are returned used, damaged, incomplete or not in resalable condition.

Packaging of return shipments

Please ensure that all returned products are properly and securely packaged to prevent damage during transport.

For shoes, always use an additional outer shipping box around the original shoe box. Do not attach shipping labels directly to the original product packaging or shoe box.

Damage to the original packaging caused by insufficient protection during return shipment may result in depreciation charges.
